What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is a mental practice involving being fully present and engaged in the current moment without judgment. It's about paying attention to thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and the surrounding environment in a non-reactive and accepting way.

With its history in Buddhist meditation traditions, mindfulness has been adapted into different secular practices and therapeutic techniques. It's often used as a tool to reduce stress, enhance self-awareness, improve concentration, and promote emotional regulation.

Practicing mindfulness typically involves techniques such as meditation, deep breathing exercises, and guided imagery. Over time, it can cultivate a greater sense of clarity, calmness, and overall well-being.
